Product Description

Philips AVENT NEW Natural Fast-Flow Nipples are designed to help babies feed from both the breast and the bottle. The nipple's wide shape is similar to the shape of a breast and its soft, rounded nipple encourages the same peristaltic movements used to breastfeed. Twin anti-colic valves keep air in the bottle and out of babies' tummies, making feeding more comfortable, thereby reducing colic. The nipples are made of soft, durable silicone and have a unique petal design that prevents nipple collapse while your baby feeds.

Wide Nipple Encourages Natural Latch-On

The wide, breast-shaped Natural Philips AVENT fast-flow nipple helps you combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Its natural shape promotes easy latch-on so your baby can feed contentedly and without interruption. The nipple's shape encourages the same tongue movements suckling babies use when breastfeeding, so transition between the two is less confusing for your baby. The fast flow rate is meant for babies who are at least six months old.

Soft silicone nipple uses a fast flow rate for babies at least six month old.

Twin Anti-Colic Valves Make Feeding More Comfortable

The Natural nipple has twin anti-colic valves that work to make feeding more comfortable for babies. During feeding, the valves release air back into the bottle rather than into your baby's tummy, which reduces colic and discomfort.
Anti-colic nipple helps babies feed comfortably and easily.

Comfort Petals Make Nipple Softer and More Flexible

Built-in unique comfort petals make the nipple softer and more flexible to promote natural latch-on. The petals also reinforce the shape of the nipple to keep it from collapsing in your baby's mouth so your baby can feed without interruption.

Durable Silicone Is Soft and Easy to Sterilize

These nipples are made of soft, durable silicone, which is odorless and flavorless. The nipples can be sterilized in any Philips AVENT steam sterilizer, boiled for five minutes, or washed in the dishwasher.

Priced well. Superb quality. Soft natural shape helped me feed my newborn when we had latch problems and my breastmilk flow was too much and too fast. Started my newborn on number 1 nipples. At 3 months, switched to number 2. At 5 months, switched to number 3 -- which is comparable to the flow of my breasts. So after 5 months of 100% bottle feeding, I put her back on the breast and she had no problems accepting it. Now she's on 50% breast and 50% bottle with no problems going back and forth. .... I really wanted to be able to nurse and have baby take a bottle for when I returned to work. The Natural nipple was my answer. My baby does both without nipple confusion! .... See More

The "slow flow" is a level TWO nipple. The website description says slow flow is for 0 months (which should be a level ONE nipple), but the packaging says for 1+ months, which is a level TWO nipple. Now I have eight extra level two nipples and I'm out the money for those. These are fabulous nipples if you can get the right size. The lowered star is for the vendor description, not the product. .... See More
